The Centre Of Agro-Entrepreneurship and Agro-Enterprise Development (CAAED) is established as an institutional engine to transform agricultural education into viable market ventures. Rather than teaching agriculture as a primary production activity, CAAED redefines it as a high-margin corporate industry. The centre integrates hands-on vocational skills, engineering crafts, and agro-processing systems into a unified entrepreneurial curriculum. It also provides platform for transforming research ideas into viable commercial ventures through product and service development. The Centre will also provide community based short term skill transfer programmes, develop and sustain internally generated revenue (IGR) channels for the university.
